Presidential candidate of the United National Movement, Mikheil Saakashvili has met professors and students of Iakob Gogebashvili Televi State University in Kakheti today. The candidate for presidency inspected a renewed library of the university available in electronic form.

While meeting the students Mikheil Saakashvili referred to the priorities he had set up. Particularly the employment programe he considers to be the most important.

He denoted that overcoming the unemployment problem and level of poverty represent number one priority in the region.

 According to Mikheil saakashvili’s statement, talented and qualified human resources are required in the country. So he remarked that it is truly significant to prepare trained personnel for labor market today.

"Our main slogan today is: Georgia without poverty.”

As always some of our opponents will announce critically that we remember the problem only now and ask where we have been all the time. If anybody is really interested I will tell the truth; I have been working, paving the roads, settling the electricity problems, because no unemployment or development of any kind exist without roads and electric power.” – denoted Mikheil saakashvili.

After the meeting with the students, presidential candidate Mikheil Saakashvili inspected the current restorative works in Shuamta monastery. At the same day it became known that 194 hectare of land will be propertied to the monastery by the government.

Later that day Mikheil Saakashvili met the public at the Telavi Teatre.

"When we declared – Georgia without road problems nobody believed we would really have constructed the roads, though we have fulfilled the promise and the road works are in progress everywhere.

 When we stated – Georgia without corruption, even this seemed unbelievable to everybody that we would overcome the disease.

 But today even the most dishonorable person can not say Georgian government is corrupted,” – denoted presidential candidate Mikheil Saakashvili.

After his arrival from Kakheti Mikheil Saakashvili carried on his meeting in Tbilisi and met the Digomi population and addressed them with a speech.

"We have achieved the Georgia without Shevardnadze, we have achieved the Georgia without electricity problems, we have achieved the Georgia without any road problems, we have achieved the Georgia without corruption and in the second term of my presidency we will attain the Georgia without poverty during the following years!” – declared the presidential candidate of the United National Movement, Mikheil Saakashvili.
