April 10, 2010 is one of the hardest days not only in the history of Poland, but for the whole civilized world. Georgia has lost the best of its friends and supporters; Poland and Europe have lost a distinguished statesman.
His heroic contribution to Georgia’s struggle for Peace and Freedom, especially during the War 2008 will be duly commemorated and never be forgotten by the Georgian people.
This is a tragedy not only for Poland, but the whole Europe as well. During his life President Kaczynski was a steadfast fighter for Liberty and Sovereignty of his country, equally defending the core democratic values and principles.
UNM conveys its cordial sympathies to Poland, the polish people and the families of all the victims of this tragedy.
